Terms and Conditions – Professional Organiser Services
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of professional organising services by Sorting-Spaces ("Organiser") to the client ("Client"). By booking a session, the Client agrees to these terms.
2. Services Provided
The Organiser will assist in the sorting, decluttering, and organising of personal or business spaces as agreed upon prior to the appointment.
3. Appointments and Scheduling
Sessions are booked by the day and must be confirmed at least 48 hours in advance.
The minimum booking duration is 1 day (6 hours).
Sessions may include hands-on organising, consultations, and follow-up support as agreed.
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client must be present during the session unless otherwise agreed.
The Client is responsible for decisions regarding what items to keep, donate, or discard.
Access to the space and all relevant items must be provided.
The Client is responsible for getting rid of any general waste.
The Organiser can advise on where to donate/sell other items.
5. Fees and Payment
A £50.00 non refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure the date. £100.00 is due 2 weeks before the date, then the remainder is payable within 7 days from the receipt of the invoice.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer.
My daily rate is £250.00 (6 hours).
Travel within 1 hour of SS11 is included in the daily rate, thereafter travel is charged at £25.00 per hour.
Travel and any storage solutions used are invoiced after the date, payable within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the session.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session will incur a 50% cancellation charge.
No-shows will be charged the full session fee.
Sessions can be rescheduled once without penalty if notice is given at least 48 hours in advance.
7. Photography and Media Use
Before and after photos may be taken for documentation, marketing, or portfolio use.
No identifying personal information will be shared without explicit written consent.
The Client may opt out of photography or request that images not be used publicly by providing written notice prior to the session.
8. Confidentiality and Privacy
All client information and content within the space will remain confidential. The Organiser agrees not to share any personal, sensitive, or identifying information without consent. For more information please see my Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
The Organiser will treat all items with care but is not liable for accidental loss or damage. The Client is responsible for the final decision to dispose of, move, or donate any items.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the working relationship with reasonable notice. Any outstanding fees must be paid upon termination.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England, United Kingdom.
